Vana'Bout (RoE)

Vana'Bout objectives will unlock after completion of Stepping into an Ambuscade.

For Round 8 and onwards these objectives were datamined ahead of time^[1][2] As of Round 8, players who wish to cancel an active daily objective must now hold down the cancel confirmation for a few seconds to finalize their choice.

The following challenges award 10 plaudits, 500 sparks of eminence, and 2,500 EXP/Limit Points

• Heroine's Combat (VBD): Complete Heroine's Combat. Buy a Martial Ball Invite for 5 Login Points from any Greeter Moogle.
• Head in the Clouds (VBD): Complete any Cloudy Orb battlefield. Level 20 cap.
• A Star is Born: Complete any Star Orb battlefield. Level 40 cap.
• Paying Lip Service (VBD): Complete the quest "Paying Lip Service.". Quest Details: Give 3 beehive chips or 2 Remi shells to Tapoh Lihzeh in Windurst Woods (I-8).

The following challenges award 20 plaudits, 500 sparks of eminence, and 2,500 EXP/Limit Points

• Hunting, Kupo! (VBD): Defeat thirty experience-yielding enemies in non-Abyssea areas. This objective will be available every day of the event.
• Coalition Assignments (VBD): Complete one coalition assignment.
• Unity: Wanted: Complete a Unity Concord Wanted Battle at any content level.
• The Merchant's Bidding (VBD): Complete the quest "The Merchant's Bidding." Quest Details: Give 3 Rabbit Hides to Parvipon in Southern San d'Oria (E-8).

The following challenges award 30 plaudits, 500 sparks of eminence, and 2,500 EXP/Limit Points

• This Chain Shall Not Break (VBD): Achieve an experience point chain bonus of 5. This objective will be available every two days of the event.
• Donations: trade at least one Imperial Bronze Piece to Gajaad in Al Zahbi.

The following challenges award 25 plaudits, 1,000 sparks of eminence, and 5,000 EXP/Limit Points

• Thanks and Come Again! (VB): Trade items to the Curator Moogle in Chateau d'Oraguille (H-9), the Metalworks (J-8), or Heavens Tower for three total rewards
• Sparks Exchange (VB): Exchange 2,500 Sparks of Eminence for items from one of the following NPCs: Rolandienne in Southern San d'Oria (G-10), Isakoth in Bastok Markets (E-11), Fhelm Jobeizat in Windurst Woods (J-10), or Eternal Flame in Western Adoulin (H-11).
• Ready for the Remnants? (VB): Enter a Salvage area and defeat any of the following monsters: Battleclad Chariot, Armored Chariot, Long-Bowed Chariot, or Long-Armed Chariot. Armored Chariot's domain, the Arrapago Remnants may only be entered once per real-life day.

The following challenges award 30 plaudits, 1,000 sparks of eminence, and 5,000 EXP/Limit Points

• Mog Garden: Mineral Vein (VB): Mine the Mineral Vein in your Mog Garden nine times. Every item received counts towards this objective. Coalition Serum increases vein yield by 2 items. A Rank 4 Mineral Vein allows for 9 total collection attempts each day.
• Awakening (VB): Emerge victorious from ★The Shadow Lord Battle High-Tier Mission Battlefield on any Difficulty. Only characters who have cleared their nation's Rank 6 mission may purchase the requisite phantom gem to enter the battlefield.
• Plaudits! (VB): Earn 400 or more plaudits during the Vana'Bout challenge period, then speak with the Coordinator Moogle at Mhaura (G-8).

The following challenges award 50 plaudits, 1,000 sparks of eminence, and 5,000 EXP/Limit Points

• Weekly Routine (VB): Complete any two of the following quests. These quests may only be completed once per Conquest period (1 earth week, resetting Sunday morning pacific time)
• Bait and Switch
• Escort for Hire
• Uninvited Guests
• Requiem of Sin
• Emptiness Investigation
• Finding Faults
• Totoroon's Treasure Hunt

Several of these quests have multi-step requirements to unlock and then repeat. You may complete the same quest twice to complete this objective.

The following challenges award 100 plaudits, 1,000 sparks of eminence, and 5,000 EXP/Limit Points

• Echoes of Creation (VB): Emerge victorious from ★Ode of Life Bestowing once on any difficulty.
