I redid the wiki link to the stealable effects on Aura Steal so that it does not show as an external link. (i.e. changed the link to [[/List of stolen effects|click here]] - since it is a subpage of Aura Steal, simply preceding the subpage with a slash will create the valid link. --Leuqarte 20:27, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

I don't even see how this is obtained - it's not listed what drops the item, and if no one has tried to sell it, it won't show on the AH. However it likely can be sold, as can most of the other "you can't wear it" beast-made items. --Leuq 21:11, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Please no advertise for GE on my Userpage without even care to ask me before!

A user has created a page under the guise of an NM page for the sole purpose of informing players of leech behavior in one person on their server as well as advertise his website doing the same. Pages on this topic have been deleted and blocked twice before. The current page in question is Hermionii (NM) and the user is Tahngarthorr - the name is one letter different from the moderator that has banned this user twice now. The user claims he has Dynamic IPs and thus can't be permenantly blocked from the wiki site. Is there anything that can be done about this?

I upgraded your user rights on the Wiki, you should have more powers to deal with some of the nonsense going on lately. Tahngarthor^{talk-contribs} 05:24, January 20, 2013 (UTC)

Hey there Cemalidor! (I'm also copying this message to Karuberu and Tahngarthor)

My name is Jorge and I am on Wikia's Community Development team. Square Enix recently reached out to us about hooking up some of the FFXI wiki community with access to the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta! As a strong MMO FF community, you would all be a perfect fit. Pretty soon we should have from 3-5 codes for the Final Fantasy community for anyone willing to play the game and over a few weeks, chronicle their time in the game in a sort of travelogue, just a few paragraphs each.

Tomorrow or Friday, we'll likely make a blog post announcing the opportunity with the intent of posting everyone's pieces by the June 24th. We'd love to make an article page on the wiki so players can leave their thoughts on their own. I just want to check in to see if that's OK with you. Alternatively, we could have players send in their thoughts by email and I can collect them all for a blog.

Anyway, let me know what you think about, if you have suggestions for what you think you would want folks to write about, and of course let me know if you want to get beta access too! Just leave me a message on my talk page.

ps: Oh, we did something similar, albeit a bit more fan-fiction like, for SimCity awhile back if you were curious for an example: http://simcity.wikia.com/wiki/SimCity_Stories.

Hi Cemalidor!

I can't log in to the forums, but I can see that you've visited this month, so might be able to help me!

My account says max no of login attempts exceeded, please enter Capcha, but no Capcha displays. The e-mail address associated with the account is pre-2009 and I no longer have access to it (though it sends out the password reset e-mail to it fine). I've tried creating a new account, but I don't receive a verification e-mail.

If at all possible, could you change the e-mail address registered to my username (Haldarn) to be the same as the old one, but @virginmedia.com instead of @btinternet.com? Thanks!

Edit: Poke - Cemalidor are you able to help me on this? -- Haldarn (talk) 15:42, May 9, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply Cem. I had one of the Wikia staff sort it out for me, cheers! --- Haldarn (talk) 17:22, September 18, 2016 (UTC)
