Trial 158

Defeat 400 Bird type monsters, Easy Prey or higher, while wearing Schiavona.

• Note: Any target of the Bird ecosystem counts as a valid kill for this trial including Apkallu, Bat Trios, Birds, Cockatrice, Colibri, Giant Bats, Hippogryphs, and Rocs.

• Lesser Colibri in Wajaom Woodlands: A great place to team up with others working on weather/day trials.
• Abyssea - Misareaux: (G/H-8-9) All enemies in this area count as eligible targets for this trial. Blue Mages with appropriate Charged Whisker setups can clear this trial very quickly here. Beware of the bat NM, Asanbosam.
• Marsh Murre just outside and surrounding Nashmau in Caedarva Mire @ the Deadmist Marsh is another excellent place to go. You can also collect Almonds and skill up Cooking to 25-26 while doing so.
• Surprised nobody mentioned the bats in Gustav Tunnel, the cockatrice in Cape Teriggan, or the rocs in Valley of Sorrows. Frequent fire weather in those areas.
