Trial Weapon Skills

Trial Weapon Skills unlock when a player fulfills a set of requirements:

1. Be level 71 or above.
2. Have sufficient combat skill. See individual quest pages for the requriements.
3. Complete a weapon-specific quest involving unlocking the latent effect of a Trial weapon and then hunting down a specific notorious monster.

These weapons and quests were all introduced in the December 2003 Version Update.

Ambuscade rewards introduced upgradable weapons that at the final two stages allow equipped players to use these Weapon Skills regardless of quest completion. Kaja Weapons came out with the February 2019 Version Update. Final stage Ambuscade Weapons released as part of the March 2019 Version Update. All Ambuscade weapons require level 99 to equip. There is no marksmanship weapon from Ambuscade rewards.
