Trial 212

Defeat 125 experience yielding Ahriman type monsters under Dark Weather/Day conditions. Soulsaber must be equipped.

• Super easy trial. Castle Zvahl Baileys map 3 around H-8ish. 8 spawns on the cross in the middle of the room, 1 in each drop down on the way to the cross, and 1-2 on each leaving path to go back up top. Dark weather is very frequent here.

• Castle Z is the way to go. Make sure you are fighting Ahriman (level 63-65) and not Evil Eyes or Morbid Eyes (both of which are below the level 56 generally required to be EP when you are at level 90). Ahriman are fairly squishy with about 3000 hp, so Disseverment, Quad. Continuum, Gob Rush, Amorphic Spikes, etc. and they are done. Bring a ranged weapon so you can pull mobs across the hole in the middle of the cross (I use a Mamoolbane). Their first move is usually magic, so you might want to ranged attack and then run out of range asap to avoid that first spell. And - for the usual BLU-outside-of-Abby issue of never enough MP - bring "+MP while healing" gear (Errant Hpl, Dark staff, etc) + food (wizard cookies) to regain mp. Alternative is to melee them, but the Level 5 petrify catches you @ 90 and is a pain. I fought in dark weather on darksday, so only needed 21 kills. Took about 45 minutes of dark weather to get the 125 points required. Castle Z Baileys shares weather with Xarcabard, so you can use Horst to tele to Abby-Uleg, use your magian specs, and then decide whether to go Ahriman farming or warp back --Kmera 02:24, May 31, 2011 (UTC)
