Walkthrough
- Head to Mine Shaft #2716 and check the Shaft Entrance for a cutscene.
- Best access is via the Home Point #1. M-9 (Entrance to Mine Shaft 2716) in Newton Movalpolos. Should have gotten this during COP 5-3.
- If you didn't get the Home Point, you may want to bring a Snow Lily for trading to Tarnotik in Oldton Movalpolos at (K-10) to be warped here.
- If you gambled with Twinkbix during COP5-3 in order to access the battlefield, you can also survival Guide -> Promathia zones -> Oldtown Movalpolos and then zone out right away to re-enter from the alternative entrance in North Gustaberg (K-6) in order to pay for a teleport from Twinkbrix again by trading him another 2,000 gil. If you're lacking the survival guide, you can exit from Port Bastok and go to K-6 for normal access.
- If you did not previously gamble with Twinkbix, you can do so now by trading him 10,000 to gamble for a key item. Once acquired, he will always offer to teleport you to mine shaft #2716 by trading 2,000 gil to him.
- If using the teleport method, turn around and exit out of Mine Shaft #2716 to grab the home point so that you never have to pay that greedy goblin again.
- Head to Metalworks (Home Point #1) and talk to Cid at H-8.
- Optional: Talk to Cid again right after for a short cutscene.
- Wait until the next game day then talk to Cid again.
