Ochimusha and Ochiudo are both Japanese for "defeated soldier fleeing the enemy." Specifically, "ochi" means "rebel remnants of a defeated faction." Musha means warrior. Literally, these are "rebel remnants warrior gloves," implying that the wearer is the warrior from a rebel remnant.
