Hazy Rune
Hazy Rune at Outer Horutoto Ruins
Just as strange as the apparatuses where they are located, Hazy Runes can be found on the hindside of each of the imposing devices. They only respond only to the rune enchantment that opposes the element that governs the apparatus. The Rune Fencer can then recored or play back messages if he so wishes. No ones knows as to why this is so; this is but one of Vana'diel's mysteries.
