Claws of the Griffon

Note: You must wait until the next Vana'diel day after completing Gifts of the Griffon to continue.

• Talk to Rholont at (E-7) to trigger a cutscene.
• Zone out of the area and talk to Rholont again.
• Zone into Jugner Forest (S) via East Ronfaure (S) (J-11) to trigger a cutscene (can be done while on a Chocobo or Mount).
  • Zoning into Jugner Forest (S) by other routes will not trigger cutscene.
  • The Survival Guide right at the East Ronfaure (S) zone line is the fastest option.

• Check the ??? at (I-6) at the southern side of the lake just east of the little creek (it's in a tree stump).
• Check the ??? again to spawn Fingerfilcher Dradzad
  • You do not need to kill this NM more than once if there are multiple people in your party.
• Check the ??? again after defeating Fingerfilcher Dradzad to complete the quest and receive your reward.
