Category:High-Tier Mission Battlefields

The phantom gem key item required to enter a battlefield can only be acquired by players level 95 minimum who have completed the original version of the battlefields. The gems can be purchased from the following NPCs for a set amount of merits:

• Trisvain in Northern San d'Oria (J-7)
• Raving Opossum in Port Bastok (J-11)
• Mimble-Pimble in Port Windurst (L-5)

Players can choose from a varied degree of difficulty; harder modes allow for greater rewards and a higher chance at equipment rewards.

Most battlefields grant personal rewards to everyone who participates, based on the difficulty below:

Battlefields accessed from Selbina or Mhaura will also drop parcels and boxes instead of individual RMEA upgrade stones.

As of the Jan 21, 2014 Version Update: The effects of Treasure Hunter are now active in the following high-tier mission battlefields at the “Very Difficult” setting:

In order to exchange Merit Points for the Avatar phantom gem, players must have completed all six of the elemental prime avatar battlefields. Completion of "Trial By" variants counts towards this condition.

The High-Tier Mission Battlefield Campaign grants players additional personal drops and higher chances at equipment rewards in every battlefield except The Wyrm God, Maiden of the Dusk, Divine Interference, A Stygian Pact and Champion of the Dawn.
