There are four window styles to illuminate your Mog House, each with East- and West-facing two variants: "Daylight" and "Nightlight".

Daylight: Panes begin to brighten at 04:00 and change to various colors throughout the Vana'diel day and night to simulate natural light.

Nightlight: Panes brighten from 17:30 to 18:00. The color is a constant orange to simulate artificial light. Panes darken from 05:00 to 05:30, although the Bastokan Sill takes until 06:00. The panes are then dark until 17:30.

The variants are otherwise visually identical, excepting the Valance whose panes have a frosted appearance.
