My fellow Paladins, my dear Paladin Union of Vana'diel...

What would we be today had it not been for the sacrifice of the those of the past, what would have become of us? For years we've toiled on the field in battle after battle, sharing the experience in glorious victory and something... agonizing and embarrassing defeat.

As of this writing I wonder what is to become of me, as a Paladin. It has been seven long years thus far and not once have I ever said "It wasn't worth it". I've been brought joy and I've been brought frustration. I've been giving a way of life to follow and damnit, I do it well! I often wonder how long the dream will last, with all the breaks and whatnot. How much longer will I be a Paladin? Who knows. All I can hope for is that it continues to bring me the same joys as in the past, and that it will do the same for you.

I guess I needed that break from it, seven years does make it old game. I believe that it is safe to say that I have moved into the next stage of my knightlyhood in that I am a teacher and an Ambassador.

What is to become of the Paladins I train? Only their conviction will tell. What can you do with Paladin? What do you seek from the ways of the knight?

Think about it.
