Rings

What was the point of those talk pages for those two rings? It's already noted on both articles and on Fit for a Prince about de-synthesis and signed names. --Charitwo 23:05, 20 April 2007 (EDT)

The point is that nowhere in the description of the quest or the rings does it specifically say that you can remove the rare/ex with a wind crystal and then use the cyclone crystal to sign it. Rather, it seems to imply that you can only do one or the other.
I would like to reword all three of the pages to say that you can either use the cyclone crystal right off to remove the rare/ex status and sign it, or first use the wind crystal to remove rare/ex and then sign it with a cyclone crystal. However, I can't figure out a concise way to do this. This is why I made the statement on the Talk pages of the rings.--vm0d 20:23, 8 May 2007 (CDT)
