Purge
Not sure if I told you this already. Here's a nice way to force a page to show you it's latest version and not display a cached version:
?action=purge
Put that at the end of any URL in the wiki. Example:
http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/index.php/Main_Page?action=purge

Rushyrushrush's recent change to the PM6-4 page led me to notice that a lot of the original content of that page was, indeed, copied from Erecia's without credit, which she seems to resent. Is there a standard policy for when/how to give credit to other authors/websites? --Valyana 11:22, 2 July 2006 (PDT)
Wikipedia:Citing sources seems to do the trick. --Valyana 11:41, 2 July 2006 (PDT)
stub template
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you want me to do. Which stub template are you referring to, the catch-all, the image, etc.? Also what type of edit do you wish me to do? --Pinkfae 08:40, 7 July 2006 (PDT)
Ferry Schedules
In summary:
- a) your table is difficult to read
- b) there are 2 ferries per route, with different NPC's, monsters, NM's, etc.
So... here's the question... since the ferry arrival/departure/destination-arrival times are identical for the Nashmau/Whitegate... why make an awkward table for the schedule? It is much easier to read the information as sets of "arrives/departs/destination" than to read it as a "arrives/departs + arrives/departs -> loop to the next column or row for the destination arrival". Also, if I need a ferry schedule, I probably want to know the schedule from the city with the port, not in the ferry article itself. You may wish to create a link to the ferry article(s) for the schedules if you insist on keeping the ferry schedules in the ferry articles instead of in the town articles.
Also, you might wish to note that that there are actually two ferries and even seperate them out as different articles. There is one that goes in the direction of Nashmau, and the other in the direction of Whitegate... They are technically two different areas, made obvious by the fact that the areas are called "Silver Sea Route To Nashmau" and "Silver Sea Route to Aht Urghan" (sp?) Each ferry has a different set of NPCs, but may very well contain identical monsters and fishing rates. This also applies to the Mhaura/Selbina Ferries, in the fact that there are two ferry routes, and each one has a different set of NPCs and monsters (evidenced by the different "super" pirate NM's that appear, depending on direction of travel).
-->> I like the second table. The times are much easier to follow.
RMT Lists
RMT List reference by Ayrlie Lists of RMT are rather controversial (as shown by arguments on FFXIOnline[1][2])
I'm not really sure if you want this to be sponsered on Wiki or not. Myself, I vote no, but of course it's up to you --Feba 21:48, 11 July 2006 (EDT)
When does voting end on this? So far the only person to support it is the creator of the article =/ Feba 22:20, 17 July 2006 (EDT)
I was using the Item Template. It just looks a little different for items where most of the subheadings don't apply (no statistics, can't be synthed or desynthed, etc.) I renamed "Other Uses" to "Uses" in that case, since for those items it is typically their only use. It automagically expanded to full width since there was nothing to go next to it, I guess. Karinya of Carbuncle 16:53, 18 July 2006 (EDT)
