I'd suggest looking on "Simple is the best" for Dynamis maps. They tend to be more exact than the DCA ones.

They're under the "FFXI" link, then "Dynamis Database," then an area on the sidebar, then the first one or two links on the left frame.

As an example, these are the two "simple" maps for Dynamis - San d'Oria, the entry you're working on right now:

Spawns are black dots, HP recovery statues are blue, MP recovery statues are green, Time Extension statues are red, NMs are dark green. They all use actual in-game textures, too. XD

The Dynamis - Beaucedine map even has a color overlay version for which mobs spawn where; I use that version for the Attestation entries. Also use the Dynamis - Xarcabard map for the Fragment entries. They haven't done me wrong. =)

As a caveat, however, they may need scaling and compression to get under the Wiki's 100K limit. So far that hasn't proven too much a problem for me and The GIMP, though. Let me know if you need any help with that.

The Strengths/Weaknesses sections, unfortunately, are neccesary to point out debates like this, because they're there, and they're not going to go away, and players need to know about them. However, it's even more neccesary to keep bias out of those sections (among other places in the Wiki).

This is going to be difficult with more and more people contributing. Level heads need to prevail and the whiners you see on Alla or KI or whatnot need to be severely marginalized. Opinion on this Wiki needs to be labeled as opinion, and I'm constantly concerned that it isn't. Valyana's submissions especially unnerve me, because she drops so many little hints that I half expect her to one day claim that "PLD tanks are worthless" or something. Even though it's really only little things that she does. She's a fantastic contributor otherwise...
