Good Job Mierin!! Now you are Elite!! Which direction are you taking it in now? Are you going to get plenty of buffer and swith to merits and if you switch to merits what are you going to go after first? --Nynaeve 08:36, 4 May 2006 (PDT)
I'm only like 96 xp over level. I'm going to get myself a 10-20k buffer, then go try other jobs. Merits really don't appeal to me. There are now 17 other jobs I want to try out. Probably BLM, PLD, THF and/or SAM are on my plate next. --Mierin 08:48, 4 May 2006 (PDT)
User Pictures
Please see: FFXIclopedia:Image Policy#Remote Images. We are not allowed to have outside links to the site. So therefor you can not have Photobucket Images linked to here. While this isn't a personal Gallery we have allowed User Pages to have one or two pictures provided they are not unsuitable. What isn't allowed is a slew of pictures placed on subpages or pictures that are lewd or inappropriate. I posted this on the AfD discussion as well. --Nynaeve 18:48, 23 October 2006 (EDT)
I did what I thought was right at the time. I had the choice of deleting all of the images or saving some and reuploading them under the correct Image Names. Since I would have to edit the User Pages to do this, I chose to edit them all out since I had already started reuploading some correctly for people. I was told by two people this is the way they would have gone about it as well. I thought it better to not leave the user page looking discentered with a broken link and I did put an explanation on every single User Talk Page that I did it to. Only one person complained and there were others who seemed to appreciate the gester. I won't do it again but I think as an administrator, you have the right to edit any page on the wiki. I know Gani or Gahoo have edited User Pages before to take out things that went against policy, so by saying you aren't to edit a user page that violates something seems a bit absurd when it has been done before. The user that complained was more upset his Pictures were taken away than the fact that someone edited his User Page and he is just throwing that out in bitterness. But in all seriousness, I won't do it again, I was just trying to help so that their pages wouldn't look like shit and broken links wouldn't happen. Its all done now, if you want to go reverting the changes that don't have the new uploaded pictures with them feel free. I don't care. I did what I said I was going to do and I think it was right. --Nynaeve 22:09, 3 November 2006 (EST)
I understand what you are saying but I did what I did and its done now. And I disagree with you on your thoughts on the User who got upset. I do think he was more upset that his pictures were deleted so his page was off than his actual page was edited because everything he has posted points to that. But its split milk and there is nothing we can do about it. --Nynaeve 22:29, 3 November 2006 (EST)
White Mage Guide
Allo-wello! So I have been editing/adding/changing up my White Mage guide... Subpages since it was getting so big and found a use for those cute little .gifs from the Job template... I think its so cute to use them on the subjob pages esp... white mage in the front and after the job name the pic of the subjob it would be... =D
Anyways, just wondering... What do you think of the changes/additions? --Nynaeve 23:18, 22 November 2006 (EST)
Congratulations!

San d'Oria (Mission) 4-x redirects
I made the redirect pages because the Magicite mission is commonly referred to as both 4-1 and 4-3. In addition, I have noticed that I at least sometimes type "San d'Oria 4-1", omitting 'Mission'. I find it not unlikely that others do the same. I can see why 4-2 redirects would be unnecessary, but at the absolute least I believe it wise to leave the San d'Oria Mission 4-3 page up. --Volkai 06:58, 30 November 2006 (EST)
Your opinion, if you have the time
I'm thinking of making pages for all the bloodpacts, and I've come up with a preliminary format for them. If you have the time, could you take a look and tell me what you think? User:Chrisjander/Sandbox Thanks :) --Chrisjander 22:58, 30 November 2006 (EST)
World Pass requests
I took out the bit in the main World Pass article that instructed people to post requests on the discussion page as well. So hopefully people will go to the forums like they should. --Chrisjander 00:13, 5 December 2006 (EST)
Announcements
Yeah - but I got tied up at work and was kind of hoping someone would add links etc. Figures that instead it'd be spammed. --Gahoo 17:25, 18 December 2006 (EST)
Images on Job pages
Did you see this and my post about it on the forums? Thoughts? Objections? Only issue I see is there are not yet similar images on SE website for the new jobs. --Gahoo 22:57, 18 December 2006 (EST)
PUP Guide
LoL me too. But there was too much talk about what SE was doing in the December update for me to feel really safe about some of the things I wanted to add. And, as it turns out, we were right. They changed the A.I. of the Harlequin and Stormwaker frames completely as well as the functionality of the Scanner. They also added weaponskills, too. Also I have all 44 of the attachments released before the December update but none of the 4 new ones and how they work is still largely a theory. People are still getting information.
The Guide I'm working on I want to include charts on the effects of every maneuver along with the types of behaviour to expect with certain maneuver combinations. I also want to include my own personal experience with how the attachments work and not just what I read. SE has been adjusting this job alot and these passed two updates it got quite an overhaul. However, much of the PUP community is agreeing that SE has finally given us a complete job to work with and I'm going to start some serious work on my Guide as I pool together more information.
This job is so complex and one adjustment can render much of the information in a guide inaccurate. I've already seen this with a couple PUP information posts and stuff on forums and the information is just not accurate or completely invalidated.
Don't worry though, I'm hoping to have a largely completed job within the next couple weeks.
The only matter that is still complexing the PUP community is the "Throwing" skill. Throwing is our highest Combat skill but we get nothing to throw until the level 70 ALL JOBS Chakrams you can buy with Imperial Standing. However, we can throw our RSE satchets or Morion Tathlums but that would just be insane, LOL. In other words, there's nothing we can throw that's a typically expendable item other than those level 70 Chakrams. Why SE made our highest Combat Skill completely useless makes us wonder what they have in store for us and if the evolution of the PUP job may significantly impact our current understanding of it.
Thanks for the interest in my guide and I'm sorry about it taking so long but I've been largely waiting on Square Enix to give me something solid to work with. *^_^*
