Crafting Question
Your guides are indispensable! Thanks very much for sharing your experience. My question: Suppose you get to Veteran in a non-fishing guild, then drop below level 88 because you leveled a different craft. Do you know whether they let you keep the Veteran rank or take it away? I'm wondering if it is possible to purchase and/or equip Veteran level gear and key item skills while at level 60 this way. -- Kreutz 12:41, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not certain but my guess would be yes. However, getting that many Guild Points, then getting another craft up that high and repeat, would be harder than I would care to do. --Ctownwoody 17:19, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Hey there. I've been following your guides (mostly), and I'm at 50 WW right now. Meifu Goma seems to only sell for 3 gil (I have max fame). Where did you manage to sell them for 37 gil? Chernabog 07:26, October 6, 2011 (UTC)

- Apologies. I am decent at the editing (this is my Saturday morning relax time) but not too up on the etiquette. I thought I was editing stub/temp pages into something more permanent. --Ctownwoody 15:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- You can read up on the FAQ if you like, it answers the how to's. --User:Charitwo/Sig 15:23, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
The founders and administrators of FFXIclopedia and Eorzeapedia, together with the podcast gurus over at Pet Food Alpha, Limit Break Radio and the Aetheryte Radio Network - are excited to announce their newest project - Gamerescape.com. Gamer Escape draws upon, and expands on, our collective experiences. We're combining the wiki platforms where you can get your information, podcasting platforms where you can listen to your favorite podcasting personalities, wordpress/news platform so you can quickly see what is going on with your favorite game, and of course, forums to allow you to discuss everything game related with the community.
What does that mean for FFXIclopedia?
We've copied the FFXIclopedia wiki content over to Gamerescape in order to seed and expand upon the wiki over there. FFXIclopedia will, of course, remain at Wikia and remain open and available for editing. To be clear, while there have been a few rather public departures from Wikia in the past few months, they are not a factor in our decision. The reality is that Wikia provides a great service for wikis and was a fine home for the past few years. They allow anyone with one click to try their hand at starting a wiki and a community. That is invaluable and, looking at Wikia's growth, has served them well. In light of some the recent public departures, we feel it was important to make this clear.
We are making this announcement because (i) we are truly excited about what we're launching; and (ii) you, the community, should know that the founders and some of the current admins and moderators will not be here, but will be developing the FFXI wiki/forums over at gamerescape.
What else is over at Gamerescape?
In addition to the content from the FFXIclopedia wiki, we have integrated Eorzeapedia - so all of your FFXI and FFXIV information is on the same site, just a click or two away. Also, in addition to FFXI and FFXIV, we've launched WakfuEscape, a platform dedicated to the upcoming Wakfu MMO (distributed by Square Enix). Complete with news platforms, forums and podcasts - we're continuing in our efforts to provide a site where you can get all of your gaming information without having to jump from site to site.
We've learned a lot since 2004 when we started FFXIclopedia, a lot of which is reflected in our new FFXIV and Wakfu wikis. We remain nothing more than a group of gamers at heart who enjoy playing games and helping the community develop a resource for those games. We're looking forward to continuing that effort over at GamerEscape.com. We hope to see all of you there.
PS. For those that have an Eorzeapedia.com account - your log-in credentials should work at any GamerEscape.com site.
