Defeat 500 Vermin-type mobs Easy Prey or higher, while wearing Antea.

• Wajaom Woodlands (G-6): 9 Worker Pephredo that respawn every 5 minutes.
• Abyssea - Attohwa: Murrain Chigoe are ideal for this trial. Pick your AoE of choice and finish this trial in no time at all. A Blue Mage using Charged Whisker or a Red Mage Dual Wielding a dagger using Aeolian Edge can effectively mass one-shot these. Also keep in mind a staff wielding Mnk using Cataclysm, War using Fell Cleave, or Blm using -aga for this also. The chigo respawn instantly.

• Beware of the Chigoe NM, Tunga.
• Having tried Murrain Chigoe in Abyssea - Attohwa, it was a pain because of Tunga aggroing everytime he was up. He is not easy to fight... Instead I went to Abyssea - Vunkerl fighting Spitting Spider and Coccinelle, they're next to each other east of Flux 5. I killed both on BLU/RDM, but eventually I just stuck with the spiders. The ladybugs only aggro during the daytime and sight only. Spiders link to sound, which made it easy to link quicker. Also the NM spider, Iktomi, will NOT link to the other spiders! Meaning, the spiders you have aggroed can run anywhere they want to without worrying about linking the NM. The area is big enough to run around Iktomi without ever aggroing him in the entire time I spent doing my trial there.--RedshiftofPandy (talk) 02:41, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

• Attohwa Chasm is also good for this trial as the west side is packed with antlions, scorpions & flies which are all vermin (5 min respawns). Kuftal Tunnel & The Boyahda Tree also boast about 30~ spiders each which are relativly close together & easy to mass link, their respawn times however, are all 16 minutes.
• The area of Crawlers' Nest which exits to the otherwise-inaccessible area of Rolanberry Fields (where Simurgh and Drooling Daisy spawn) has a room full of Knight Crawlers and Crawler Hunters (scorpions) which are all EP at 99. The one danger here is the NM scorpion Aqrabuamelu who can easily eat the unprepared or careless soloist for lunch.
