Trial 1176

Defeat 200 vermin-type creatures under Earth weather or on Earthsday.

• Target: Diving Beetle (Lv25-28)

• Destination: Sauromugue Champaign

• I did this one in Sync. of lv37 (these beetles will be easy prey for 37 mnk), Earthsday/Weather in here is ok, upper left part of (G-8).

• Attowha Chasm, frequent weather. Kill antlions, flies and scorpions. Solo-friendly due to Signet defensive bonuses.

Note:

You just need to check on weather from the Weather Reporter in Port Jeuno then go in the day of the weather.

Other than that just wait for the Earthsday. For weather in Attowha Chasm, check Tahrongi Canyon report.

• Mount Zhayolm, frequent weather and many crawlers and flies.

• Helm Beetles - Quicksand Caves (enter from (J-9) of Western Altepa Desert. These beetles can make for a decent alternative for this trial. Location-wise, these beetles appear in the following locations:
  • 3 beetles are near (I-9/I-10) - Map 3
  • 4 are behind the weight door at (F-10) _ Map 3
  • A few are scattered through the large room - Map 3
  • 2 beetles appear in randomly locations - Map 8
• Earth weather is pretty common at the Quicksand Caves and these beetles will respawn as you go from one camp to another. At level 96, however, a few beetles will be too weak, but cactaurs and antica in that area won't aggro . Finished this trial in about an hour or so.
