The General's Secret/Plot Details

Curilla: There is a spring atop Horlais Peak from which the sweetest water flows. I want you to bring me some. I could have one of my knights bring it, but... I would like to keep this an outside job.

Curilla: Why? I have my reasons. Tell me, will you do it?

say yes

Curilla: Then, good luck! Use this to draw water from the spring atop Horlais Peak.

Curilla: What will I use it for? The spring water is good for my eye, you see. I suppose I can tell you...

Curilla: Once, long ago, I faced Prince Trion in the tourneys. But I lost an eye in exchange for the championship.

Curilla: The honor of best sword of San d'Oria was mine... but the eye that I lost still pains me. I consider it punishment for yearning to hear the crowd cheering my name...

Curilla: Please, tell no one. Many knights would seek to take my place if they heard me say such things.

Curilla: I tell you because I judge you an honest man/woman. Please do not tell me I have erred!

Curilla: Thank you, and I will think of you again, next I have need for something.
