Walkthrough

It is recommended to set "/poke <t>" and "/stare <t>" to a Ctrl/L-Trigger, and "/slap <t>" to an Alt/R-Trigger macro bar. There is only a very short time between using /stare and targeting the ??? that appears and executing the /slap.
Talk to the Anniversary Event Moogle to receive a Shaded Moogle Rod .
Talk to the Erudite Moogle to hear an explanation of the mini-game.
Talk to the Erudite Moogle again while wearing your Shaded Moogle Rod and select "I want to participate."
- Movement speed buffs such as Corsair's Roll are not removed when you receive your costume effect.
Proceed around the zone as per the maps below, using /poke to open doors where necessary, avoiding Agent Moogles.
It is not too detrimental to be struck by a few of these moogles. You will recover plenty of Mog Energy as you disarm traps.
/stare at the unfamiliar object to spawn a ???.
Very quickly select the ??? and /slap it to disarm the trap.
Remember to un-select doors as you pass through, else you may end up slapping them instead
The mini-game ends as soon as you disarm the 16th trap.

Maps

You will want to be within 4 yalms of the target when using /stare for it to become targetable. The ??? points are always centered on an object rather than randomly being an undecorated spot on a wall or floor. The community-assembled maps are below

Rewards

You receive 1 pt. for the first trap disarmed, then another 2 pt. for the second and so forth for a total of 136 pt. per run PLUS an amount corresponding to how much Mog Energy you finish with (max 30), for a total of 166 pt. These points may be spent with the Erudite Moogle as follows:
