Template:Tree list

Implements Wikipedia's Tree list template to present data in a heirarchy. This is useful for branching quests, taxonomical structures, or other branching, parent/child structures. It works by wrapping an unordered list in CSS styles that alter the decoration to create the visual effect. It works in a set with other templates to create this effect:

  • Tree list
    • Tree list/end
    • Tree list/branching

Usage

Simply wrap an unordered list in the appropriate templates:

*Parent One
**Child One
**Child Two
*Parent Two
**Child One
{{Tree list/end}}

Output:

  • Parent One
    • Child One
    • Child Two
  • Parent Two
    • Child One

You may also create unlabeled branches by using the branching template
