Introduction

This template is used at the top of a documentation page that is transcluded into another template.

It provides options for working with the documentation page from the main template.

Usage

This template goes at the top of the documentation page:

Parameters

All parameters are optional.

  • Any parameters that are not applicable to the article may be removed.
  • When unknown, leave the parameter in with a blank value so that others may fill it in.
Template Parameters
Name Req? Description
page N The name of the documentation page.
The default value is generated with {{#titleparts:{{FULLPAGENAME}}|1}}/Doc
Example for this template: Template:TemplateDocInfo/Doc
align N The alignment of the text.
Must be a valid text-align (CSS) value: left, right, center. Default value is right.
opacity N The opacity of the text.
Must be a valid opacity (CSS) value in the range of .1 (10%) to 1 (100%). Default value is .6 (60%).
Note: This is a CSS2 style that is not recognized by Internet Explorer. Users of MSIE will see 100% opacity.
edit N Indicates if the the Edit link is visible. Set to N to hide it.
history N Indicates if the History link is visible. Set to N to hide it.
refresh N Indicates if the Refresh link is visible. Set to N to hide it.
The Refresh link is used to purge the template from the wiki cache when the documentation page has changed.
This forces the template to refresh and transclude the updated documentation.
