Template:Sandbox
- This template page is used for testing out templates in progress to see how they will show up on a page that is being worked on. This page is intended as a Sandbox for any user that wants to try a template to see how it will work without breaking the code of an existing template or without having to create a new template page for something that you want to try to see if it would work.
- To use this, simply put your code in the marked area and save this page. Then test the template in your page with the appropriate function, however use the Show Preview function. Do not save a page using the Test template (unless you are using your personal Sandbox as a test page). If your code looks right, save the code to the appropriate Template:XXX link and then use that template for final usage. After you complete your tests, revert your edits back to this original edit.
