When trioing with two friends that had no kismet abyssite I noticed the difference. We entered at the same time and got the same lights since entering. However on my kills we got more exp/cruor than on their kills. So it enhances the rate at which lights are received or gives you a base amount of lights at entry.

Doesn't seem to affect max cruor or XP rewards from Blue chests. So it eithers makes them drop more often (which is kinda redundant) or it makes xp/cruor/time drop more ofter than soothing light/temp items? Kinda hard to test. -Dracko 00:22, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

It could possibly mean that when trying to open blue chests u are slightly favored in guessing the right direction of the knob.
