Translation
See Tachi: Enpi for the translation of "Tachi:." Unlike all previous Great Katana weapon skills, Tachi: Fudo is not numbered.
The full Japanese name is 祖之太刀・不動 (so no tachi: fudou).
So (祖) means "ancestors", "progenitors" or "forefathers."
Fudo (不動 fudou) translates to "without movement" or "immovable." It comes from the legend of the Buddhist diety Acala (अचल, immovable one). Fudou-myou'ou (不動明王) is the full Japanese name and literal translation for अचलविद्याराज (Acala-vidyārāja, Immovable Wisdom King).
The translated name is "Ancestors' Style of the Tachi: Immovable (Wisdom King)".[1]
