Description and Notes
- Grants a Magic Shield effect for party members within area of effect.
- Obtained: Rune Fencer Level 95
- Recast Time: 5:00
- Duration: 0:30
- Duration can be extended up to 50 seconds with Job Points
- The Magic Shield acts as a direct damage reduction for the duration of the effect.
- The amount of damage reduced is equal to 20% of the affected player's Maximum HP at the time the ability is used. A RUN with 2000 HP would receive a 400 HP damage reduction. A BLM with 1500 HP would receive a 300 HP damage reduction.[1]
- This damage reduction potency is cut in half for Ballista.
