Mercenary

Mercenaries are soldiers for hire, a trade often taken by goblins, gigas, mithra, trolls, and adventurers in Vana'diel. In terms of players, this means either:

• A mercenary of "Salaheem's Sentinels". Each mercenary carries a Wildcat Badge to identify their Mercenary Rank and can participate in Assault Missions. Membership into Salaheem's Sentinals is granted upon starting Aht Urhgan Mission 3: President Salaheem.
• Signed-up with one of the 3 campaign nations, in particular the Cobra Unit of the Mithra Mercenaries.
