Notes:

A few details are left out of this memo which are not available via a cutscene:

• Melvien and Souffriand were accompanying a unit, led by Reginald and his honor guard, conducting a survey in Marjami Ravine.
• Through a cloudless sky, both Melvien and Souffriand were struck by a forked bolt of lightning, and both leaders were also injured in the shockwave.
• Of the four, only Melvien recovered.
