The Light Spirit

A Summoner can employ the power of the elemental spirits. The Light Spirit is a very important
one to have in a Summoner's arsenal. It can buff and cure the Summoner, party members, and even
alliance members with the same spells of a White Mage at the same level of a Summoner. Some
spells that a Light Spirit can't cast are Bar- spells (i.e Barpoisonra, Barstonra, etc.)and -ra
Spells (i.e Protrectra, Shellra, etc.). The spirit can't cure or buff itself either. However, it
can use Curaga spells on alliance members. In it's normal resting state, a Light Spirit will cast
buffs on party members in a cycle, starting with the Summoner. However, there is a way to get a
Light Spirit to cast on certain targets when wanted, which greatly improves it's versatility.

Forcing Light Spirit to Target Someone

The key to having a Light Spirit target someone as the mainstay of buffs/cures is a simple
matter of positioning. Placing yourself on one side of a party member, and your spirit on the other
side of the member will cause the Light Spirit to target certain party members.

Examples

Example 1:

For an example, let's have a fictional two-person party. The Summoner Kametame, and the Warrior
named Bob. Bob currently has no buffs. If Kametame places the Light Spirit behind Bob, and
Kametame stands in front of Bob, the Light Spirit will start to cast it's buffs on Bob. Bob is
happy, Kametame is happy, and the Light Spirit dies a little inside (morally, that is).

Example 2:

Let's say that Bob happens to step in a stream and a very ill-tempered Robber Crab attacked him.
Bob manages to fend off the Robber Crab but is left with orange-red HP. Kametame pulls out his
Light Spirit and positions it to Bob's left, while he places himself at Bob's right. Sure enough,
the Light Spirit casts Cure V on Bob.

Conditions

I have not fully experimented and seen what the kinks in this targeting system are. I do know
however, that the Spirit can cast spells that are sometimes redundant with this targeting system
(casting Haste on a person with orange-red HP). Also remember, that the Light Spirit model should
not collide with the target Player (Light Spirit cannot be inside the player for this to work).
