What the guide aims to teach
This guide is intended for Puppetmasters who need to keep their Sharpshot Frame skills capped when there are no parties available, since this is the only place where we have a chance to do so.
What you will need
- All you will need for this is your Sharpshot Frame and an Animator to help with ranged accuracy. The only attachment I use is the Scope. (Target Marker is also a useful attachment for skilling up Sharpshot Frame on enemies which con higher than Even Match, as it is believe to ignore a portion of the enemy's evasion based on level difference for both physical and ranged attacks.)

- /pet "Deploy" <t>
- /wait 1
- /pet "Deactivate" <me>
- /wait 1
- /ja "Activate" <me>
The Execution
Find a likely target of any variety (non-aggro mobs work best). Pop a Wind Maneuver, and then hit your macro. The Automaton will deploy, immediately fire off a shot, then be deactivated in the next instant, resulting in a complete loss of hate. You can repeat this every minute, since that is the recast timer on Deactivate.
