Crest of Davoi/Plot Details

Baudin: Then you'll need this crest of Davoi. You can't break the inner seal without.

Baudin: I want to trade this for a slice of coeurl meat. What do you say?

• Say Yes

Baudin: All right! Thanks! You can find coeurls on the Sauromugue Champaign.

Baudin: Alrighty. Here's the crest of Davoi, just like I promised.

Baudin: What? You want to know what I'm going to use this slice of coeurl meat for?

Dialogue transitions into cutscene.

(Baudin leads you into his house.)

Baudin: To tell you the truth, my sister's not well.

(Baudin walks over to an adult blonde haired Elvaan woman leaned over listless in a chair.)

Baudin: Hey, Audia... It's me. Remember?

(Audia stands awkwardly.)

Audia: I want meat! Bring me a slice of coeurl meat, drenched in bright red blood!

Audia: Quickly... Make haste or I'll devour you!

Baudin: Okay, okay... I brought you some, so don't give me that evil look anymore!

Audia: Ahahaha... Such delicious-looking meat.
The fat, so perfectly marbled!

(She walks into a rear room. You can see her back as she eats it.)

Audia: Aumfch... Mmmm! Ahh... Fresh meat!

(Camera moves back to you and Baudin.)

Baudin: My sister was so nice before she got sick. She was so looking forward to marrying Albrecht.

Baudin: But one day, after she came back from a picnic with Alista, she got a headache and stayed in bed. Then, she got like that.

Baudin: Everybody says she's under some kind of curse. Albrecht's been praying at the temple every day, hoping for relief.

Baudin: I heard the crest would lift the curse, but it didn't work either.

(Baudin starts to cry.)

Baudin: But I don't think she's cursed at all!
She's never done anything bad to get cursed like that!

Baudin: Oh, Audia...

(Baudin leads you outside to the steps.)

Baudin: I don't like to show her like this, but I don't know what to do anymore.

Baudin: That fiance of hers, Albrecht, is always at the temple.
