Convergence

Notes

• Initial upgrade and each thereafter grants Blue Magic Affinity: Magic Accuracy and Blue Magic Affinity: Magic Damage +1. (Similar to elemental staves, except it works for all elements and only magical Blue Magic.)
  • Each +1 to Blue Magic Affinity adds +5 Magic Accuracy and +5% Magic Damage, for a maximum of +25 Magic Accuracy and +25% Magic Damage fully merited.
    • Spells that are not attribute-dependent, such as 1000 Needles or Heat Breath, receive a direct percentage increase to their base damages (e.g. 1000 Needles with 1 point in Convergence inflicts 1050 damage unresisted).
    • Spells that are attribute-dependent, such as Eyes On Me or Firespit, receive the bonus damage to the portion of the damage calculation that does not depend on the target's stats.
• Has no effect on physical Blue Magic spells.
• Unlike Burst Affinity, the effect of Convergence is not consumed when casting blue magic spells that do not target enemies, such as enhancing spells.
• Warning: Convergence will restrict Area of Effect spells to single target. Take caution when using this spell to enhance the accuracy of Yawn, Sheep Song or Soporific when being used to sleep multiple enemies.
