The original Japanese for this weapon skill is: 刃・烈 (jin: retsu).

Retsu (烈) means "ardent," or "violent," with the connotation of being passionate or fierce. The translated name is "Blade: Fierce."[2]

Levels

  • Blade: Retsu is natively available only to Ninjas. Setting NIN as one's support job allows access to Blade: Retsu, though the only known Katana equippable by jobs other than NIN is the Trainee Burin.
