Historical Background
In Christian demonology (Late Medieval- Early Modern European), Romwe (also spelled Ronove, Ronové, Roneve) is a demon with the dual-rank of Marquis of Hell and Great Earl of Hell (not Baronet), commanding 19 legions of demons. Ronwe is depicted as a monster (no specific details). He can teach his conjurer, rhetoric, any language on Earth. He is said to provide good, loyal servants for a conjurer. Romwe is 1 of 69 demons listed in the Pseudomonarchia Dæmonum and 1 of 72 listed in the Ars Goetia (the first section of the Lesser Key of Solomon).
