Avoidance Down

Avoidance Down is a harmful status effect that disables players until it wears off or is removed. Afflicted characters experience may not block with shields, parry with their engaged weapons, or guard attacks from monsters in front of them. This is not a percentage-based affliction, it prevents all shield blocks/parries/guards.

Monsters inflict this by emitting a Sphere effect and as a result there is no way to remove this outside of mechanics that disable the sphere effect.
