• At approx. every 20% health Arimaspi will resummon any defeated minions (maximum 4 summons).
• (2 Hour) Eagle Eye Shot - Use this ability on Arimaspi's current target.
• Spellcasting - Cast high tier Black Magic; e.g. Thunder V, Curse, Sleep II.
• These lesser minions are susceptible to melee damage.

• Airy Shield: Arrow Shield effect, blocks all Ranged Attacks.
• Magic Barrier: Magic Shield effect, blocks all spells.
• Blindeye: Single-target physical damage and Blind . Absorbed by 1 Utsusemi shadow.
• Eyes On Me: Single-target magic damage, ignores Utsusemi and Shell, cannot be resisted. Does consistent damage regardless of the target's attributes or the monster's TP.
• Mind Break: Cone Gaze Attack Max MP Down.
• Hypnosis: Cone Gaze Attack Sleep.
• Binding Wave: 15' AoE Bind .
• Level 5 Petrify: 15' AoE Petrify of anyone whose level is a multiple of 5.

• Immune to Silence and Gravity .
• Susceptible to Paralyze .

• Aerial: Immune to melee damage. All hits will be missed.

• Magical and Ranged attacks deal normal damage.
• Certain physical Blue Magic spells will land. Confirmed are Goblin Rush, Quadratic Continuum, Vanity Dive, Delta Thrust, Frypan, Amorphic Spikes, Heavy Strike, Benthic Typhoon, Sudden Lunge. On the other hand, Head Butt and Disseverment will NOT land, no matter how close you are to the NM.
• AoE weaponskills will damage Arimaspi if in range.

• Red weakness may be triggered on this NM by triggering red weakness on one of the adds. This can be accomplished by using the typical elemental WS's on the adds. Both the particular add on which the weakness is triggered and Arimaspi will receive the usual terror effect.
• Blue weakness is likely also triggered the same way as red, but this needs verification.
• Unlike red weakness, yellow weakness is triggered normally by casting spells directly on Arimaspi.
• Dybbuks and Ghosts are near pop spot, suggested to move slightly NE, to take care of blood aggro.
• PLD/NIN tank, BLMs, WHM (it casts break), RDM, and another party to handle the adds. Ranged DD recommended.
• Can be Countered, and Counter hits can damage Arimaspi.
