Splendid Sakura

Splendid Sakura

Face off against the Treant Splendid Sakura and its summoned Treant allies. This encounter's gimmick revolves around the springtime Japanese tradition of cherry blossom viewing with friends and food.

  • Languishing Larch - Summoned second
  • Antagonizing Aspen - Summoned last (Difficult and Very Difficult only)

Difficulty Settings

The Difficulty Settings determines the HP% at which Splendid Sakura summons allies and the potency of Sakura's aura. The total number of allies summoned was reduced in the March 2022 Version Update.

  • Very Easy and Easy:
    Languishing Larch (50%)
  • Normal:
Hibernating Hickory (66%), Languishing Larch (30%)
    Sakura's Plague Aura removes 30 TP/3 seconds.
  • Difficult and Very Difficult:
Hibernating Hickory (75%), Languishing Larch (50%), Antagonizing Aspen (25%)
    Sakura's Plague Aura removes 50 TP/3 seconds.[1]

Battle Mechanics

Each treant emits a unique sphere aura that enfeebles nearby players. Removing these sphere aura requires a gimmick to force Sakura to use a unique TP move. When Sakura's sphere is removed, all other active spheres are also removed.

Passive Traits
Splendid Sakura:

  • Emits a Plague aura, dealing ticking magical damage and draining TP every 3 seconds.

Hibernating Hickory:

  • Emits a Silence aura.
  • Vulnerable to physical damage.

Languishing Larch:

  • Emits an Amnesia aura.
  • Vulnerable to magical damage.

Antagonizing Aspen:

  • Emits a Muddle aura.
  • Significantly weaker than the other treants, dies quickly to just auto-attacks.

Abilities Used
Splendid Sakura:

  • Chelate - Dispels all food effects in a wide AOE. If it successfully takes any food effects, accompanies a unique log message: "The Splendid Sakura uses Chelate. [Player] is ready for flower viewing!". Once enough food has been stolen, Sakura enters a 'flower-viewing time,' all active sphere effects are disabled, and Sakura takes extra damage for a period of time. Players will want to keep eating food to encourage this transition.
  • Pollen Storm - AOE Damage, Paralysis and Blind. Mistranslated as "Storm" for the March 2026 update.
